With over 50 years experience, Rooney Associates Architects has established a reputation for creating architecture of the highest quality.

A family business, now in its second generation is run by Kevin Rooney MRIAI.  The practice has always prided itself in the direct involvment of the partner or director in a client's projects and we have a proven tracjk reckord in collaborating with other practices.  The practice has had branch offices in both Sligo and London and continues to work in these regions.

The practice seeks to develop its vision founded on the principles of design excellence, social well-being and environmental responsibility within a viable and sustainable framework.

Approaching every project by firstly taking time listen to our clients’ objectives, we create design solutions which respond to the client brief in an imaginative and intelligent manner.  We endeavour to combine an innovative approach to the unique issues, and the design opportunities each project presents, incorporating the latest thinking in sustainability, technology and construction techniques.

Irrespective of the scale of the project we focus our designs on providing the best buildings and places to enhance the lives of those who live, work, or play within them.
